After graduating from Edmeston Central School, Bill obtained his Property and Casualty Insurance license in 1983, followed by his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license in 1987. Bill graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Risk Management and Insurance, in 1988.
Bill worked as a commercial lines underwriter for Utica National Insurance Group in 1988, and became a manager and producer for several Gates-Cole locations. Bill obtained his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI)designation in 1990. Bill works in sales, sales management, agency management and marketing for all ten Gates-Cole locations.
He chairs the Engine Eleven Golf Tournament, and is a past chief of Engine Eleven, the chair of the golf tournament to benefit the Utica Rescue Mission, and is on the board of directors for Pathfinder Village. Bill has served on several insurance company advisory boards.
Bill enjoys golfing, mountain biking, racquetball, basketball, kickboxing, fishing and hunting. He resides in New Hartford with his wife and two children.
