Sherry began working for Gates-Cole Associates Inc in 1977 as a customer service representative. After earning her Property and Casualty license in 1981, she was promoted to manager and has worked in the New Hartford office since the opening in 1990. Sherry achieved the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation and obtained her Life Insurance license before being named a Vice President of Gates-Cole.
Sherry has spent over twenty years on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Herkimer, Oneida and Madison Counties. She is active in her local community organizations and is a long time supporter of and participant in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
